Alumni Spotlight

Rotary Foundation alumni have a long tradition of translating their Rotary experience into professional success. Paul Volcker’s boxes of notes on the banking systems of the European countries he visited while an Ambassadorial Scholar undoubtedly influenced his tenure as U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman; Sadako Ogata began her career as UN High Commissioner for Refugees as a Rotary-sponsored student at Georgetown University; and movie critic Roger Ebert first danced to the Beatles while on scholarship in Cape Town, South Africa.

The Alumni Spotlight will be features an individual who has leveraged their Rotary Foundation support into career success. We encourage you to nominate yourself or someone else for the Spotlight by emailing me or filling out this short form.
